Little Red Door Breaks Record at 17th Annual Face of Hope Breakfast

INDIANAPOLIS – On Thursday, November 21st, Little Red Door Cancer Agency hosted its 17th annual Face of Hope Breakfast at the Expo Hall at the Indiana State Fairgrounds. The Face of Hope Breakfast is Little Red Door’s premier fundraising event, featuring stories from Little Red Door clients, staff, and Board members.

“We had tremendous momentum heading into the fairgrounds on Thursday, then magic and thoughtful strategy took sail,” stated Director and CEO, Mandy Pietrykowski. With the support of two transformational gifts, the Face of Hope Breakfast raised a record-breaking $564,311 for Hoosiers along the cancer continuum. “Because of our Board of Directors, Table Captains, staff, and donors, Little Red Door remains nimble and quick-to-pivot to meet the ever-changing needs of the medically underserved cancer community. We are going to do a lot of good with this and impact a lot of lives.” Pietrykowski continued.

The Face of Hope Breakfast supports critical client services for cancer patients and survivors throughout Indiana, including transportation assistance to treatment, nutritional supplements, Camp programming for pediatric cancer patients, wellness programming, and beyond. “This year, as we embrace the season of family, giving, and gratitude, I invite you to continue giving hope to cancer patients in our community,” stated Brenda Ewigleben, Little Red Door Chief Advancement Officer. “Your generosity has helped countless individuals find comfort and strength during their most challenging times.”

"Anything helps. And trust me, I have seen this organization do magic with even $10,” stated Giovanni Arana, Little Red Door Vice Chair and Associate Vice President of US Marketing Oncology – Hematology at Eli Lilly and Company.
