Client Privacy Policy

The protection and privacy of client information is of extreme importance to Little Red Door Cancer Agency.  Our agency follows privacy and security standards and uses a secure Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to maintain client information.

Little Red Door is not a health care provider and does not directly provide any tests or treatment, but may facilitate clients in obtaining these services from others.  In order to provide these services, our agency obtains written consent from clients to receive and release a limited amount of their information.  This information is only shared with health care providers, agencies, and persons who are directly involved in their care.  Information is not shared with any other third parties without client consent.

Donor Privacy Policy

Little Red Door Cancer Agency strives to maintain the highest level of respect for the privacy of its donors. The following is our donor privacy policy, which guides our volunteers and staff on how they may and may not use your personal information while honoring your rights as a contributor.

LRD collects and uses personal information from donors that include: name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, and donor comments when a donor voluntarily provides it to us. In addition, LRD keeps a record of each donor’s giving history. This information is kept on file for IRS purposes and is also used in our development process to analyze overall giving patterns in order to make accurate budget projections.

LRD will never share names and postal addresses collected through donors’ voluntary financial contributions of any organizations. LRD will never sell, rent or exchange email addresses.

As a rule, LRD publicly recognizes a donor by publishing a donor’s name unless the donor explicitly chooses the “anonymous” field when making a donation by mail or online.
