"Thanks for helping to make this a great summer for her. She loved camp!"
What a 180 degree turn this summer has been compared to last summer! Last summer at this time, my husband and I were preparing our daughter for the possibility that her brain tumor was terminal. I still get tearful when I recall that day when we were told our child would probably be dead in 9-12 months.
One year later our daughter is a walking, talking, energetic, loving girl! We don’t know what tomorrow holds, but we are sure enjoying our todays!
Thanks for helping to make this a great summer for her. She loved camp!
"Thank you. Thank you."
When I was a little girl I played at my mother’s feet while she and other women in her church circle made bandages for Little Red Door’s cancer patients.
Forty-some years later I needed financial help and Little Red Door did far more than I could have ever asked, and provided relief at such a stressful time.
I am thankful for what you do at your agency, for your gracious staff, and for all the people who have given in some way over the years. Thank you. Thank you.
"Your help has made my difficult situation a bit easier to bear."
Please accept my sincere gratitude for your kindness during this time of fear and hardship. Your help has made my difficult situation a bit easier to bear.
Instead of being burdened by cares of day-to-day existence, I can now focus on survival and recovery.
You have my promise that when I possibly am able to, I will vow to help someone less fortunate than myself and therefore touch their life as you have now touched mine.
Again, many thanks.
