"Your agency recently enabled me to have a mammogram that I otherwise couldn’t afford."
cI just wanted to write you a little note of thanks. Your agency recently enabled me to have a mammogram that I otherwise couldn’t afford. I had a scare, but all turned out well. During this time however, my eyes were opened to how much Little Red Door does for people like me.
As I sat in the clinic waiting room waiting for my mammogram results, I watched people come and go. A lot left crying my heart went out to those people. When it was my turn to leave, I felt guilty to be happy because my biopsy was negative. But it could have been different. I could have had a malignancy and never known because I would have never had that first mammogram if it weren’t for you.
I never thought much about agencies like yours until now. This has been such a growing experience for me. Thanks from the bottom of my heart. Keep up the good work. If I can help in any way, please let me know.

"I am writing you today to sincerely thank you for helping us through this frightening situation."
Recently I contacted you when my doctor found a cyst in my breast. I was very scared that the cyst was cancerous.
On top of being overwhelmed with fear, I knew that our income was not sufficient enough to pay for a mammogram and/or ultrasound. After making several phone calls someone told me about your organization. At the time I wasn’t familiar with your services. After speaking to one of your staff members about our financial situation, I qualified for financial assistance. Little Red Door offered to pay for the tests that I needed, and I scheduled my appointment for the following day.
Just knowing that I was going to be OK meant more to my husband and I than words could describe. I am writing you today to sincerely thank you for helping us through this frightening situation. I have all the respect in the world for you, and hope that you can continue to make a difference in people’s lives.
