"I cannot say enough how much your program means to me."
Thank you very much for the Client Services Satisfaction Survey regarding my interaction with Little Red Door Cancer Agency. I have filled this survey out and attached it, however, I also wanted to add this letter to inform you of my appreciation for your outstanding service program, your professionalism, and your graciousness during my personal ordeal.
When my husband lost his job and I could not afford to have a mammogram done, as I should have after six months, because my family no longer had insurance, I was told about Little Red Door. It took me several months before I pursued information regarding your program (because I kept hoping we would find a way to regain insurance coverage). Eventually, I was spurred on by repeated notices that I should have a lump that was questionable in previous films, and also because I heard an advertisement for your services on public radio.
When I summoned the courage I needed to determine if I had cancer or a less serious problem, I first checked for information on Little Red Door via the worldwide web. I found your address and phone number and additional information there and then called your offices. Throughout the next several months I had multiple sets of mammograms and ultrasound images done, a breast biopsy, a follow-up exam and then bills to pay. Throughout you extended every courteousness possible.
I cannot say enough how much your program means to me. You were there at a time when my husband was experiencing deep depression and entertaining suicide and I found myself needing to investigate the possibility of breast cancer, which every woman fears. From the first moment I spoke to you, to the last, I felt safe, helped, and able to work through finding out about my own health. Beyond this emotional support and guidance, your program offered financial support so that I could actually pursue a biopsy which I would very likely never have done at this time. Again, I cannot say thank you enough for your work and support! I have nothing but good things to say about Little Red Door, your personal willingness to help, and the services you offer. I will not hesitate to recommend you to anyone I become aware of who has similar needs.
